Success stories

Even though every single animal we have and had can be considered a success story, we didnt document every single case, there were so many, hundreds, and we’re so tired and overwhelmed daily for years now.. We lost so many and that really took a tole on us, but we have to move on and fight for the ones that still need us.

Here are just a few succes stories:

Pumukli, before and after. One of the dirtiest cats we’ve ever rescued, even after 2 bubble baths she was super dirty, but now after months of a decent life she looks great!

This is Bundi, rescued in June 2020, a very very difficult time for us.. we had 0 support, no money at all, only problmes one after another, but still we didnt say no when dieing animals needed our help..

Before and after. Rescued her from the side of the road this year (Valea Oltului) she had 3 puppies, one was hit by a car(couldn’t save him at the best clinic in Bucharest) but she and her two puppies are now part of the family. It’s unbelievable that it’s the same dog in both pics.

Angel – he was also abandoned by the side of the road..

Diablo – abandoned in a forest and now he is adopted in a loving family

Nyuszi – a small very sick kitten, abandoned at a church! during Easter mass, and absolutely no one cared that she was dying in a ditch! We had to drive to another city for her..

Bebe – we loved this poor sick kitten so much.. sadly he lost the battle with FIV

Szosz-mosz – a true miracle story, she overcome all odds, and today she lives with us at home, she had such a bad case of FIP that she had diarrhea for 2 months strait.. But the expensive GS antiviral Bliss saved her life!

Portos – our 3rd blind cat. He was hit by a car in a village and for 2 days he was left by the side of the road.. Someone called us only 2 days later..

Joey – a kitten that sadly for all his life had health problems, then FIP twice, but we did all we could to make his life as good as possible

Torpy – rescued from the cold, with pneumonia

So many puppies rescued over the years..

Alom-szuszi – broken pelvis and she can walk now

Conan – abandoned on the street with only 3 legs

Bon-Bon – found in the winter in the street

Csalafinta – Almost died of FIP, was skin and bone

Gandalf – he was our most severe case of wet form of FIP, more then 1.2 liters of abdominal liquid, yellow as lemon, and because of GS he is now super healty

Ho-mano – rescued from an abandoned building

Gibi – he was skin and bone from FIP – Now he is healty and happy

Hudini, a kitten thrown out in a bag, we bottle feed him for more then a month, he recently died but he was happy for the short time he was with us

Moey – he almost doed from an eye infection, lost both his eyes but now he is so happy and fat

Murtzi – kitten found almost in the coma, hit in the head, needed to be bottle-fed, now she is better but still with visible motory impairment

Penny – found on the street like this, she is blind but she is the happiest cat we have ever seen! She can cure your depression in a heartbeat!

Pluto – maimed by villagers living near the sanctuary..

Puntzi – hit by a car, he was in a coma, needed to be bottle feed, and now he is almost 100% recovered

Silver – he was abandoned at the vet, before that on the street, he had FIV, then PIF, he didnt survive long but we gave him all we could

Tochogy – she recently died, she lived with us for a year, she was brought to us misisng her hind legs
